    'VAGABOND' is a good example of the iconic Nelson 40 V Class pilot boat. She was originally built in 1973 and is in good running order having recently been refurbished.

    The forward cabin has been extended. She has been re-gel coated. The decks have been fibreglassed and the engines have only done 400 hours since being totally rebuilt.

    Twin Cummins V504 naturally aspirated 197hp Vee 8 diesels 8.3 litres each with 4 valves and injector valve per cylinder fed by Cummins PT pump with common rail fuel injection. Shaft drive through Self Change gearboxes to propellers. Both engines were fully reconditioned by a previous owner in 2000. They have only run 400 hours since that time.
    Steering gear is Mathway XL type, consisting of two bevel boxes, one reduction gearbox with 2" dia torque tubes articulated through bulkhead bearings and universal couplings.
    Four boxes of engine spares including new starter motors and alternators. New Pump and spares, heads, Cams etc. One spare shaft and two spare propellers
